The light of the poplar groves in summer is the amniotic uid in which I swam in childhood. A playground scene where the Serchio river owed alongside, the light bounced brillating with the shadow, softly moved by a light breeze, this dance approached with the comfort of coolness. From time to time, the bright colours of our T-shirts burst in. With the concept of ‘the more I cut, the more I paint’, I dedicated to trees the long painting cycle that is still ongoing.
